Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
"I
feel that I am
qualified to
serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court
because I display great Hokie Spirit, am
heavily involved with the campus radio station,
WUVT-FM, and am outstanding in my major. With
the Marching
Virginians, I
have cheered on our football team from the
front row, as well as traveled to Tampa
and Miami to support them. With
WUVT-FM, I work
as the Office and Operations Manager, ensuring
that the station can function smoothly day
to day. Finally, as a
Marketing Management
major in the Pamplin College of Business,
I have earned entry into the Beta Gamma
Sigma Honor Society. With
a near perfect
3.965 GPA, I am ranked number one in my
major. If I am selected
as the Homecoming
King, one of my goals will be to emphasize
Virginia Tech's long tradition of excellence
and try to connect todays students with
past Hokies."
