Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
"As
a former athlete,
current Greek member, and engineer I feel
as if I represent all areas of this Virginia
Tech. My
work ethic allowed
me to work my way from a walk-on to a starter
on the varsity soccer team. In joining
a social Greek organization, I have been
able to meet multiple almuni and university
officials that have had lasting legacy at
Virginia Tech. And lastly,
as an engineering
student I have learned to take on any challenge
with the mind set of finding the best reasonable
solution. If
selected Homecoming
King, my goal would be to better unify all
social, academic, and athletic atmospheres
in order to reduce the competition between
university organizations."
