Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“Being a nominee for Virginia Tech’s Homecoming Court would be an honor. I believe I am qualified to uphold the traditions and reputation of our school and of our students. If nominated I feel I can endorse our motto, Ut Prosim, through the multiple community service organizations of which I am part of and my involvement in numerous university committees and organizations. If selected as Homecoming Queen, I would represent Virginia Tech with the utmost respect through my interest in university-wide diversity. My most important goal as Queen is to celebrate and promote diversity throughout the student body. Students on the Virginia Tech campus may be unaware of the diversity we have to offer, whether it is through the multicultural programs provided or various student organizations. I hope to serve on the campus as an ambassador of diversity relations and to the Virginia Tech community. “
