Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“Leadership has been the prevailing theme throughout my tenure as an undergraduate student at Virginia Tech. Hokie pride drives me to serve my campus and my community as evidenced by the organizations listed on my resume. I strive not only to be the best that I can be, but also to help unlock the full potential in others. My ability to set a good example, act as a resource of knowledge to others about opportunities on and off campus, as well as to motivate others makes me a strong candidate for the 2008 VT Homecoming Court. I would be thrilled to be selected Homecoming King because the position would add to my credibility and leverage toward affecting others and inspiring them to participate in all the great opportunities that VT has to offer. It would be an honor to serve as an ambassador for the university and promote the university throughout my final year at Virginia Tech. “
