Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“Being a student at Virginia Tech has given me memories that I feel blessed to have embarked on. Friends I have made, campus organizations, and experiences provided through Tech have helped shape who I am today. By taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the university, I have gained a strong sense of community and a calling to serve the campus to the best of my abilities. Whether representing Kappa Delta, the Filipino American Student Association, Business Horizons, or Virginia Tech as an Orientation Leader, I strive to be a role model for others.
For these reasons I believe that I am a deserving candidate for Homecoming Court. If crowned Homecoming Queen, I would commit to promoting positive ideals, spreading Hokie pride to the campus community, upholding a positive image, serving Virginia Tech and its students by being an ambassador for the university, and working alongside my fellow Hokies.”
