Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“During my freshman year, I personally knew the Homecoming Queen and I looked up to her in every way. I felt that she was an amazing role model and that she represented Virginia Tech in a positive manner. Through my leadership activities and volunteer work on VT’s campus and the community, I believe I carry similar qualities. I also believe that through the variety of organizations I am involved in, I am able to relate to a diverse group of students. If selected homecoming queen, I would try and expose more students to Hokie spirit and tradition. During football season, there are many events on campus that bring the student body together such as pep rallies and concerts in downtown Blacksburg. I feel that we should continue with these types of events throughout the year, especially during basketball season. “
