Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
"I
am passionate
about the Hokie Community and I am privileged
to have served as an Orientation Leader,
a former Athlete, and a member of Delta
Gamma Fraternity. Through my leadership
roles in these activities, I have developed
a strong respect for fellow Hokies and myself. I
have enthusiasm for teaching and emulating
Hokie values, and strive to bring a contagious
charisma to living out Virginia Tech’s
motto and Principles of Community. My
goals as Homecoming Queen would be to serve
as an ambassador for the university through
genuine living,
setting an example, and heartfelt commitment
that brings attention to the meaning of
Hokie Spirit. I
hope to inspire
all students to the importance and joy of
service. There are immense
student involvement
opportunities for service, giving us all
a vision for future service that will make
Virginia Tech even greater."
