Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“As a person, I am well disciplined, dedicated and inquisitive, who always hankers after knowing more and more of the subject. I always like to finish up my work on time and never prevaricate in takin hard-talks. Through my hard-working nature and disciplined approach I have developed myself as a team leader. I have always carved a special niche for myself where ever I have gone. I am flexible and ready to learn from my experiences. Apart from this I am a very friendly and accommodation person. I also acquire good communication skills. I can not only speak and write in English but also in Hindi. I am also proficient in writing and reading Spanish. I am affable, kind and considerate. I am also very ambitious and work constantly towards realizing my goals. Besides all these things, confidence, self-belief, my dedication towards work and involvement in different activities make me an excellent candidate for the position of Homecoming King.
The University has done more for me than I have done for it and Homecoming King would be a great way to give back to Virginia Tech. As a Homecoming King, my foremost goal will be to take the university to new heights. I will represent the Hokies and promote the university to all the constituents of Virginia Tech, which includes students, alumni, faculty and staff.”
