Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
"While
growing up, my
father would tell me how he taught me to
crawl. He would set his Virginia Tech Class
ring our in front of me and I would proceed
to crawl towards it. “It became your
goal, to reach for my ring,” he told
me. It became my goal in college to get
involved, receive a great education, and
create lasting friendships. I am a friendly,
compassionate and organized woman with lengthy
limbs and a permanent smile. If chosen for
Homecoming Queen, I would show my constituents
that our outstanding Homecoming tradition
is not an all-Greek event. Instead it is
a campus and community wide even that honors
and brings out the best in every Hokie.
If elected, I want to be active in and promote
university wide events, be a role model
for all incoming freshman and be a positive
symbol of Virginia Tech."
