Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“Homecoming is such a long-standing tradition here at Virginia Tech; and the two most important and greatest experiences I have had thus far as a student include my involvement with the Ring Design and Dance traditions. For the past two years, I have dedicated my time in helping others know more and appreciate our unique Hokie traditions. I am qualified to serve on the Homecoming Court not just because of my involvement on campus, but because I have such a great appreciation for our traditions. I want to serve on the Homecoming Court because it is another opportunity for me to get involved with the traditions on campus and ultimately serve the university. If I were selected to be Homecoming Queen, one of my goals would be to increase the knowledge about our traditions as well as improve the amount of participation.”
