Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“I feel my qualifications for the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court can be based off our university’s motto “Ut Prosim." Throughout my career at Virginia Tech I have tried to serve the Tech Community and surrounding areas, and as a member of the Homecoming Court I feel there is no greater way to serve. The activities and organizations I have participated in at Virginia Tech have allowed me to serve in many different capacities. I have been able to serve on the Virginia Tech football field as a cheerleader, pumping the crowd up for game winning drives, and also in the local Blacksburg and Christiansburg community, as a Big Brother and community service activist. If selected as Homecoming King I would like to be a representative to Virginia Tech and the local community as a positive role model that values servitude and encompasses all aspects of our motto, “Ut Prosim,” that I may serve.”
