Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“The four and a half hour drive from Maryland comes to an end as I pull onto Southgate Drive, the driveway that leads to my home. I glance at Lane where I haven’t missed a game; pass the Holtzman Alumni Center where I help run SAA meetings and alumni reunions; continue on to Squires where I go for all my SGA duties; pause at Oak Lane where I assisted hundreds of girls go through recruitment; and stop in to my chapter’s house to organize the next philanthropic event. I have worked with freshmen, parents, peers, professors, and alumni over the years to gain a unique insight on our university, which has allowed me to gain the ultimate college experience. If elected the 2008 Homecoming Queen, I would want to share my diverse background, knowledge, and genuine Hokie spirit with all those I meet and know.”
