an ever-empowering
motto that
has come
to define my collegiate
experience. I
am grateful
for the
opportunities
that
have
transformed
me into
the young
woman
I am
today. Serving
as the
2009
Homecoming
Queen
would
be an
honor
and would
give
me a
chance
to highlight
more
of the
University`s
credible
positive
attributes,
like
its acclaimed “Principles
of Community.” I
believe
that
my strong
work
ethic,
ambition
to lead,
love
for humanity,
and spirited
personality
make
me a
model
reflection,
and I
take
much
pride
in the
fact
that
I am
from
an underrepresented
background. Change
is ever-present,
and I
honestly
believe
that
I posses
the unifying
force
that
this
campus
so desperately
