Why do you feel you are qualified to serve on the Virginia Tech Homecoming Court and your goals if you are selected Homecoming Queen or King?
“Since my freshman year, Virginia Tech tradition is something that I have really learned to truly appreciate; and to be a part of one of the oldest traditions at Virginia Tech is very important to me. Our school’s motto, "Ut Prosim, That I May Serve", is something that I have tried to embody in my years here through my service in many leadership roles on our campus. I feel that if I am selected to be on the court and voted as King, I will be able to represent the position with pride, class, and dignity. I hope to be able to reach out to the Blacksburg community and encourage participation in philanthropy, community service, and promote Hokie spirit amongst my fellow classmates and community. It would be a true honor to be a member of the 2008 Homecoming Court.”
